Buzzin Bizarre

Koun Samang, 7-years-old, has a rather unusual best friend, an 18 stone python.  Koun lives in Cambodia with his snake named Chomran, which means lucky.

The serpent was found in the village at around the same time that Koun was born and the two have become inseparable, despite attempts by the boy’s father to return the snake to a nearby forest it always returns to the boy.

The father feels there is no threat to his son as the python only eats chicken and duck and is quite happy for the pair to snuggle up together at night.
