Buzzin Bizarre

This had got to be one of the most cleverest clips I’ve seen which has been created by a group of men in Wales, where else!.

Armed with sheep, sheepdogs, cameras and LED lighting, the group which calls themselves the Baaa-Studs, put together this imaginative clip, absolutely fantastic.

A veterinary hospital in Exeter, New England, America,  has become a bit of a tourist attraction as people come from miles to catch a look at one of their lodgers ‘Ugly Bat Boy’.

He is a cat with a difference, as you will see from the clip below.  He has no fur on his body but he has a huge unkempt ruff around his throat and along his stomach.  It is not known what breed the feline belongs to but he was taken to the surgery eight years ago along with his sister, who was also without fur, but only survived a few weeks.

People assume that the cat is some sort of robot as he sits so still and staff have had to put notices up to tell people that he is perfectly normal just unattractive.

Ugly Bat boy is said to be very friendly and just like any other cat, loves attention;

A rare and bizarre bottle-nose dolphin has surfaced in a lake in north of the Gulf of Mexico, with one amazing difference, it’s pink.  The creature was spotted swimming with a pod of 4-5 other dolphins, one of which is thought to be it’s mother.

The dolphin is reported to be an albino as it also has red eyes, but otherwise looks to be in good health, although it doesn’t come to the surface as much as the others, probably a good thing as it’s pale skin does not offer the protection from strong sunlight.

There are however, a group of dolphins called ‘Pink Dolphins’ or ‘Boto’ that live in the Amazon River, one of only four species of dolphin that live in fresh water.

Babies and children of some Indian tribes in the Amazon are literally being buried alive, which is allegedly being covered up by certain authorities out of respect for tribal rituals.

Campaigners, known as the ‘Voice for Life’ are fighting to stop the infanticide, which usually occurs when a child is born with any form of deformity or disability.  However, it also takes place if the baby is a girl or if the mother is unmarried.

Most are buried alive in shallow graves while others are suffocated with leaves, poisoned or simply abandoned in the jungle.

There has been several suicides within the tribes, as the parents of siblings of these babies would rather kill themselves than their children.

The video below is very disturbing and actually shows a burial, it may be their way of life but it is so wrong.  The Brazilian politicians are now debating a Bill to outlaw infanticide to be known as Muwaji’s Law, after a mother who refused to bury her own baby alive.

This group of goats in Tennessee are known as fainting goats which have an hereditary genetic disorder known as Myotonia Congenita.

The goats are a slightly smaller version of the standard goat which appear to faint whenever they are startled.  They suffer with a condition which causes them to stop moving, stiffen and usually fall down on the ground.

It is believed that back in the 1800’s, farmers and shepherds kept the goats with their flocks to help in predator attacks.  The theory being that as the goats become startled and fainted, the sheep had a chance to escape as wolves would focus on the goats rather than the fleeing sheep.
