In the Indian village of Cherukulapadu, locals are claiming that a sex-crazed monkey has attempted to rape several of the local women.

Apparently, one of the langur monkeys, had been watching a couple in amorous activities in a field and was overcome by lust and is trying to mimic the behaviour.

The langur monkey’s, which can be as large as 3ft, have lived peacefully amongst the villagers for years but there has been problems with monkey violence in the past. Only last year the deputy mayor of Delhi was killed when he was attacked by a hoard of wild monkeys on a balcony. There was also the incident in which a was two-year-old child was supposedly snatched from its mothers arms in Delhi.

One elderly lady has allegedly already died of shock after the monkey jumped at her.

A local villager has said “We’re waiting for a forestry team to catch it.” The city now employs monkey catchers to round them up and return them to nearby forests. Culling the creatures is against the Hindu’s beliefs.
