It was reported recently, that a man got bitten on the penis by a deadly eastern brown snake in Australia when he stopped at the roadside to relieve himself.
The tourist had apparently crouched near the roadside when the snake slithered between his legs and pounced on it’s prey.
An ambulance spokesman said “It certainly had a swipe at him, but it didn’t envenomate him. As it came through it must have got a bit of a shock.”
The man who suffered the embarrassing bite was said to have been left with a scratch, vomiting and abdominal pain. The wound was wrapped in plastic in case of poison, but he was given the all clear after tests and spent the night in hospital recovering.
It was one of Australia’s most poisonous snakes, and the ambulance spokesman described the man as “lucky” and said “I think he was a bit shocked and embarrassed.”
